all about birthdays

C is now officially nine years young.
He had a great time taking treats to school, bowling with his buddies, opening presents (thank you Grandmas & Grandpas), and eating the funniest looking b-day cake ever.
It was my first time making an ice cream cake.
Of course I didn't have the patience to follow the recipe.
Patience is a good thing.
Ice cream cakes that melt faster than you can frost them are not good things.

Happy Birthday C!
We love you!

Do you see that happy look on his face?
He looks just like that, today.
Today starts his beloved wrestling season.
Josh had that same look on his face, Saturday.
He went & watched State Wrestling & loved every minute of it!
Josh & C are two peas in a pod.

all about valentines

This is what we did on Valentine's morning. T had another great victory & so did C.
This clip is of C. He is on the left of the screen--the one making the shot. We get a kick out of watching all of those boys jumping around--
popcorn comes to mind.

Here is B, showing me all of his "Be Mines."

C was pulled over in the school hallway by a classmate from last year. She stopped him before he ran out to recess. She gave him a little red bear & a bag of skittles.
I thought that was pretty bold!
C thought it was pretty cool. Free candy? Sweet!!!
Oh dear, I think C likes the attention.

Poor T This was his first year without an official class Valentines party, but that didn't stop him from getting a few things.
He won't admit it, but I think he likes the attention, too.

all about tornadoes that start with t

We have tornadoes
in our neck of the woods.
This one was a category 3...

year old.

Here is a little English lesson for you:
According to Dictionary.com.....

tor·na·do - " plural -does, -dos."

Either is correct. tornados or tornadoes

In my house, tornadoes start with a t & end with an r.

all about making the shots

Here's a taste of T's game this morning.
The final score--34 to 7.
T made at least 24 of those points.
I think that they are going to be the champs again this year.

all about snow removal

Our big broom that we use to sweep snow off of the trampoline broke.
Josh was forced to
clear the snow
with his boots.

Who knew that snow removal could be so much fun?
